Freeform surface has fully with the design ability of off-axis reflective imaging system, and has the potential to achieve higher performance indicators, the complex structural constraints, meeting the various high or special needs in the field of space optics. Either at home and abroad, related research groups have been successfully designed or developed many free surface off-axis reflective imaging system. They have advance performance indicators, or have the special system structure, adhere to the two application directions in the field of space optical system of freeform surface, to improve the optical performance and to realize the special structure. The article particularly introduce the structural design and analysis of freeform surfaces in off-axis reflective space optical imaging system.
