Exploring the effect of color on the gaze input interface

摘要

Recently, gaze input has become popular; yet, gaze input studies are hampered by device and physiology limitations. These limitations can be addressed by interface adaptation. The study explores the influence of color combinations on user performance with respect to gaze input. The results demonstrate that the extent of eyestrain and subjective evaluation significantly affect the ability to detect chromatic gaze input. This study also proposes an experiment for measuring the effect of the gaze input detection area on user performance.
