This research was aimed to test the antioxidant activity and to determine the phytochemical contents of mangrove leaves extract. Maceration was done for 48 hours and 24 hours using different solvent; methanol and ethanol respectively. The result showed that ethanol extract from mangrove leaves which was macerated for 48 hours performed the highest antioxidant activities with IC50 as much as 82,279 μg/mL. Phytochemical analysis result showed that mangrove leaves extract with maceration length of 24 hours with methanol solvent has a negative result for tannin and triterpenoid, however, extract with ethanol contains all phytochemical compound that were tested. Mangrove leaves extract which were macerated using methanol solvent on 24 hours length of maceration as much as 3,36% has higher percentage of catechin and quercetin than the ones for 48 hours 1,53%. Extract using ethanol solvent on 24 hours length of maceration contains catechin compound as much as 11,20% higher than 48 hours which was 9,94%.
