When mixed with collagen, fibrin forms a copolymer that is more resistant to plasmin degradation,Combination of PRP with a collagen hydrogel has improved healing of experimentally induced partial cranial cruciate ligament rupture in dogs, providing proof of principle regarding treatment of client-owned dogs.
