SURGICAL TREATMENT FOR HINDLIMB PROXIMAL SUSPENSORY DESMITIS

摘要

Surgical treatment of hindlimb proximal suspensory desmitis has improved the outcome in horses that are non-responsive to conservative management.Magnetic resonance imaging findings can be helpful in determining which treatment (surgical or medical) may be the most beneficial for each horse.Magnetic resonance imaging can be useful to follow healing in horses with proximal suspensory desmitis.
