In this paper, the optimal annealing temperature and time of primary recrystallisation annealing of 3% Si low temperature nitriding HiB steel were investigated. The production process referred to the actual production of cold-rolled silicon steel. The temperature range is from 750°C to 880°C. The time range is from 3 min to 9 min. After analyzing the results of Electron Back Scattered Diffraction (EBSD), it was found that the optimum temperature for primary recrystallisation annealing was 820°C, and the optimum annealing time was 5 minutes.
