Leaf is an important organ for photosynthesis and respiration in plants. Leaf area and biomass are important parameters in the physiological processes of trees, which affect the biological structure of trees directly. This research focused on sampling and measurement of wet and dry season in the different eucalyptus age leaves in Kunming area, Yunnan province of China. Image J software was used to analyze and compare leaf area and biomass in dry and wet seasons. The results showed the significant difference between the effects of wet and dry seasons on eucalyptus leaf area. It has great influence on the leaf area of annual eucalyptus, especially in wet season. Response of biomass on dry and wet seasons also showed significant difference. This research can provide theoretical reference for the physiological characteristics and the law of the eucalyptus tree.
