Biochemical Abnormalities with Cytologic/Hematologic Correlations in Cats

Cases presented will demonstrate biochemical abnormalities affecting hepatic and renal blood parameters, electrolytes and proteins particularly. Where relevant, specific cytologic and hematologic changes will be demonstrated from these cases to assistin the diagnosis. While some abnormalities may be specific for certain diseases, the emphasis will be placed on using all available data to best evaluate these cases. In addition, specific instrument artifacts relative to some of the cases will be highlighted. As a review, these proceedings will help establish an appropriate baseline for understanding the abnormalities presented in these feline cases.
