QUANTUM ACUPUNCTURE: THE THEORIES OF EVERYTHING INTRODUCTION - QUANTUM REALITY ACUPUNCTURE

As veterinarians and acupuncturists, nearly all of us were initially trained in the modern Western approach to medicine. As we all know, this paradigm tries to take diseases that manifest differently in different individuals, boil them down to simplified common symptoms, using a linear scientific philosophy gleaned from hundreds of years of Classical (or Newtonian) Physics. This approach has evolved to what is now called 'algorithmic thinking' that usually amounts to simple 'yes' or 'no' clinical questions focusing on the big picture by ignoring or discounting individual variation - an attitude very different from that which is used in many Eastern and other integrative medical approaches. But the Western Newtonian healing paradigm is starting to change healers start to question its short-comings while at the same time other paradigms (including Quantum Theory (QT)), knowledge and subatomic understanding are finally winding their ways into recent bio-logical research (also called biophysics). The underlying and accepted QT tenet of the subatomic energy duality acting simultaneously as particle and wave, individual and group, local and non-local, exactly mirrors what we have been taught as the foundation precept of Traditional Asian medical techniques - the expansive and infinite duality of Yin and Yang.
