摘要

News media, like daily newspapers, are among the most important actors in connection with societal crises like wildfires, strong storms or social unrest, both in making people aware that a crisis is under way, and for the further information. The public also values them high, especially in physical crises, while the valuation in connection with social crises is mixed. The article is questioning whether local news media in the future will have enough resources to provide the public with adequate information in connection with crises like these.
