The protection of insurance consumers' rights and interests has always been a subject of concern to the supervision departments and experts. In recent years, some progress has been made in the protection of the insurance consumers' rights and interests in China. However, with the vigorous development of internet insurance, it is especially necessary to protect the rights and interests of the insurance consumers. This paper analyzes the status quo of the protection of insurance consumers and the main types and causes of the infringement of the consumers' rights and interests, and further expounds the measures to protect the internet insurance consumers' rights and interests. Only protecting the rights and interests of internet insurance consumers can promote the healthy development of internet insurance, which is conducive to the sustained and steady development of the insurance industry in China.
