The bending vibrations of a geometrically nonlinear Euler-Bernoulli beam supported by three equidistant visco-elastic dampers and subjected to two oppositely moving point loads are studied. The Bubnov-Galerkin procedure is used for solving the strong formulation of the problem, and the finite element method is involved for numerical analysis.
