In the article the process of forming the truncated matrix of the binary frame mask of the segment is considered. An estimation of the presence of single elements in the lines and columns of the segment of the binary mask is made. The principles of compact representation of the truncated matrix of the segment of the binary mask using the code of power of the alphabet are justified, which provide the potential opportunities for an additional increase of the compression ratio.
