In order to better enhance the appropriateness and effectiveness of ideological education for overseas Chinese students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, this paper takes Zhuhai study tour for Hong Kong and Macao college students as an example based on the relevant theory of moral psychology which is more culturally universal. This paper probes into the design of the practical teaching mode of cultural education. The design scheme mainly includes three modules: (1) to promote the construction of the national "moral circle" through individual contact and "listening to stories"; (2) to exaggerate the moral emotion, such as promoting "civilization" in "contempt" and stimulating "love and hate" in "anger"; (3) to enhance the "sanctity" of young students' thought, namely, motivate them to appreciate the "holy lands" and to follow the "saints".
