Based on the status of end-of-life vehicles in Macau, waste and recycling methods are discussed with comparative analysis to give out some policy recommendations. Taking european standards as a reference, and other Asian regions treatment policy as basis would be feasible for Macau to deal with the increasing end-of-life vehicles. System dynamic models, involving economic and social factors, are set to predict future trends of different types of end-of-life vehicles and their exhaust emissions.
