摘要

The fault tree is a method for identification and assessment of combinations of the unde- sired events that can lead to the undesired state of the system. The objective of the work is to present a mathematical model of extended fault tree method with the house events matrix to enable integration of several system models into one model. The mathematical model of the fault tree and of its extension with the house events matrix is presented. The theory is supported by simple examples, which facilitates the understanding of the approach.
