This paper presents a model of power transformer which is directed oil flow and controlled by the oil flow washer using computer software. The aim of this paper is to study the increment of temperature in oil-filled transformer windings. Some aspects need to be considered while constructing this model i.e. mass flow distribution and pressure drop which is depend on the size, number, location of horizontal ducts, fluid/oil properties and the temperature variables. Calculation of pressure drop depends on temperature changed, hence, the heat will uniformly distributed. An iterative solution is implemented in order to solve the equation of oil temperature, oil velocities and disk temperature. This model is designed in a single disk section. The crucial part while designing the model is to incorporate the power transformer with suitable parameters namely as fluid properties, disk size, number and etc. This is due the disk temperature is easily get effected by the changes of any variable. Modelling using MATLAB shows the result obtained is approximately same as the concept introduced by Del Vecchio and P. Feghali.
