The solution processibility of polyaniline and graphene being poor, the authors have attempted to make a composite of both in aqueous acidic media with gelatin as a low cost dispersion stabilizer. The composite was tested for its impedance performance in 20 Hz-2 MHz spectrum. The C band complex permittivity has been extracted. A patch antenna is made with the conducting polymer composite. The return loss and transmission of the polymer antenna is measured at C band and compared with a standard patch antenna. The synthesized composite has the potential to be used as conductive layer in microwave antennas.
