摘要

This paper presents the results of vibration test intended at determining the elastic modulus of glulam beams. Particularly, simply supported beams are tested and the obtained results are analysed for determining their key dynamic properties. Compared with the static modulus from static load test and the natural frequency obtained through finite element analyses, the vibration-based detection method is proved to be feasible and more accurate in measuring the elastic modulus of glued laminated beams.
