The boundary definition of sea-area used is very important for dynamic monitoring in sea area usage. This paper first analyzes the characteristics of reclamation boundary, requirements and common methods of boundary measuring. Then, a triangle analytic method is proposed for boundary measurement of sloping reclamation. After applying DGPS surveying and reclamation revetment surveying on land, the proposed method can be used to obtain the accurate and complete reclamation boundary, considering the water depth data before reclamation construction. The triangle analytic method is not only practical with low cost, but is also insensitive to the environment and easy to use, which is specially suitable for high-frequency dynamic monitoring in sea area usage.
