The article is devoted to the dynamic force measurement using multicomponent strain-gauge balance in various fields of technology, including experimental studies in wind tunnels. Experimental studies were carried out, involving ground vibration tests of the balance and applying a step axial force to an aircraft model mounted on six-component strain-gauge. A mathematical model of the axial component of strain-gauge balance for measuring the dynamic axial force was proposed. Applicability of the static balance matrix for the measurement of dynamic loads was validated by the experimental results using vibration rig. A method was developed for determining the dynamic force, including the aerodynamic one, by axial component of strain-gauge balance. The developed method was verified for cases of application of step and harmonic forces.
