PURPOSE: A load cell for measuring a load of an axial member is provided to precisely measure an axial load actuated on the axial member even though an eccentric load is actuated on the axial member and to accurately measure the eccentric load actuated on a cross section of the axial member.;CONSTITUTION: A load cell for measuring a load of an axial member comprises a ring-shaped housing unit(12), a plurality of elastic bodies(16), a strain gauge, and a spacer. The housing unit includes a plurality of through-holes penetrating through from one side to the other side along the outer circumference of the housing, and a hollow portion where the axial member penetrates through is formed in the central portion of the housing unit. The elastic bodies are respectively inserted into the through-holes so that one end of the elastic body is protruded in one side of the housing unit, and the other end of the elastic body is protruded in the other side of the housing unit. The strain gauge is attached to the elastic body, thereby measuring the deformation of the elastic body in a longitudinal direction. The spacer is interposed between an inner surface of the through-hole and the outer periphery of the elastic body so that the outer periphery of the elastic body and the inner surface of the through-hole are spaced from each other.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
