Predicting the colour appearance of Munsell colour chips under various illuminants from their reflectance spectra

The values publically available for the reflectance spectra of some of the matt (1269 samples) and glossy (1600 samples) Munsell colours and their representations in various colour spaces have been reviewed. These wavelength dependent reflectance spectra have been tabulated in 1 nm and 5 nm intervals which enables the calculation of the colour appearance of the Munsell chips under any specified illuminant and allow RGB values to be calculated for any RGB system once the three primaries and the white point have been defined.
