摘要

The growing demands of energy necessities the production of high performance and efficient systems. This paper reports the Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) investigation on the heat transfer and friction factor in a dimple tube with regularly spaced twisted tapes. The performance parameters studied are dimple depth and dimple pitch related to dimple tube and twisted tape pitch and twisted tape spacer length related to regularly space twisted tapes. The uses of multi-objective optimization i.e., grey relational analysis for optimizing heat transfer and friction factor is introduced in this paper. This research reveals that dimple pitch and twisted tape pitch have the most significant impact on the performance on the system. The optimal parameters are found using grey relational grade.
