METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A TWIST TAPE WHICH IS INSERTED IN A HEAT TRANSFER TUBE OF A HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a twist tape which is inserted in a heat transfer tube of a heat exchanger is provided to facilitate the interior cleaning of the heat transfer tube and improve the heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a twist tape which is inserted in a heat transfer tube of a heat exchanger is as follows. A slit coil is put in a material feeder and transferred to a cutting machine(30). The slit coil is passed between a roller guide unit(42) and clamped on a turn table(41) in a twisting machine. The end of the slit coil is formed into a twist section of a twist tape by moving back and rotating the turn table. The turn table is moved backward to form straight end sections of the twist tape. A piercing punch(31) of the cutting machine is lowered to punch the slit coil. A cutting punch is lowered to cut the slit coil into the twist tape. The twist tape is dropped into a finished product receiving space.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
