摘要

The dynamic response of a layered ground due to a harmonic rectangular load is investigated theoretically.To consider the influence of underground water, the upper part of the ground is modeled as the single phase elastic layers while the bottom as the poroelastic half space.Biot's theory is employed to govern the poroelastic half space, and the semi-analytical solutions to the problem are derived using Fourier transform.A special case of two elastic layers is studied by inverse fast Fourier transform.The calculated results show that the thickness of the first elastic layer has significant effect on vertical displacement of the ground surface.The influence of the load velocity is also apparent.
