This study presents the method for evaluating the reliability considering resistance capacity loss of the in-service highway bridge reflecting various site corrosion environments.To review the application of the suggested method, the PSC-Ⅰ girder type was selected as a sample bridge.An analytical procedure that can evaluate the quantitative performance degradation of PSC-Ⅰ girder bridge, considering traffic conditions,corrosion environments, and crack damage of PSC-Ⅰ girder was proposed.In order to evaluate performance of the bridge, traffic conditions including the annual average daily traffic volume, heavy vehicle volume, and the corrosion environments (mild, normal, and severe) were considered.According to the results in this study, the performance degradation is sensitive to the important parameters of traffic conditions, corrosion environments,which may decrease the structural reliability level caused by bridge failure.Cracks in the PSC-Ⅰ girder may accelerate the performance degradation and affect the reliability level of the bridge.Therefore, the proper maintenance plan should be scheduled for bridges depending on the site corrosion environments.
