This volume of AIP conference proceedings is the outcome of the sixth Saudi International Meeting on Frontiers of Physics (SIMFP2018), held at Jazan University, Jazan, Saudi Arabia during Feb 27-March 1, 2018. The aim of this sixth version of SIMFP, as all other meetings since its inception in 2012, is to bring together scientists and researchers from world-class institutions to exchange ideas and discuss the latest developments in physics research. The purpose of this conference series is also to introduce the scientific community in Saudi Arabia in physics and other fields to recent progress and discoveries in science and technology, and this meeting continues to serve as a platform for such aims and objectives. In this SIMFP meeting, many undergraduate students attended the conference which provided a forum for scientists and students to meet and discuss the current interdisciplinary problems in various areas.
