摘要

A new method to enhance Wi-Fi based indoor Pedestrian Dead Reckoning (PDR) in corridors by fusing uncalibrated security cameras is proposed in this paper. An algorithm using uncalibrated security cameras to infer a user's heading in corridors is developed. Android devices and a security camera system are used to build up an experimental platform for field data collection and algorithm development/assessment. Experimental results have shown that by incorporating heading estimates from security cameras, the Wi-Fi based PDR performance is improved.
