Metal injection molding of 22μm Co-Cr-Mo powder was investigated. The binder system used consists of a major fraction of paraffin wax, polyethylene and a minor fraction of stearic acid with a powder loading of 65 vol. %. The rheological behavior of feedstock was determined using Capillary Rheometer. The feedstock then injected into tensile bar using Vertical Injection Machine. The feedstock has been successfully injection molded at a temperature of 210°C. The sintering behavior was investigated in the temperature range of 1300-1400°C, and the effects of the sintering temperature, heating rate and soaking time, were examined. Results indicated that when sintering at lower temperature, the density of the sintered product was lower than the higher temperature, which at temperature 1390°C given the highest density and tensile value. Nonetheless, the sintered part deformed when sintered at 1400°C. The mechanical properties comply with the international standard (MPIF Standard 35, ASTM F75).
