摘要

This paper presents a terminal sliding mode control (TSMC) for single input single output (SISO) system based on empirical model of the level control system. The nonlinear function is added into the sliding surface in TSMC to find the unmeasured disturbances of the system and stability of the system can be analyzed by using the Lyapunov function. Due to nonlinear surface, controller assures fast finite time convergence characteristic. Also it has robustness property for parameter variations and disturbances. The empirical model is implemented using simulation and experimentally and its results is compared for effective performance of controller.
