The Effect of Weight in Mean Arithmetic to Estimate Total Fruit Harvest

In statistics, mean is one of parameter estimators. The difference of mean calculation method will give different result, which finally can influence the value of estimation. In this paper, the comparison of two mean calculation ways, uniform-weight and non-uniform-weight, is discussed. The methods will be explained in this paper are common mean calculation (uniform-weight), weighted mean calculation based on data position in bloxplot and weighted mean calculation using fuzzy logic (non-uniform-weight). To examine the methods, the harvest of plantation is employed. The result shows that mean calculation with non-uniform-weight gives parameter estimator with small error.
