The brand expansion of international hotel groups in China has become common recently. It has influenced on many aspects for the development of Chinese private brand hotels. On the one hand, we'd better learn from international hotel groups for their accumulated experience on strategic decisions and brand expansion modes. On the other hand, we need to compete with them. The domestic hotels should know their own shortcomings on brand comparing with international hotel groups. Facing the pressure on rapid development of international hotel groups, our domestic hotels have to take active coping strategies to make sure that they may survive and develop well in the coming fierce competition.
