By setting the width of time, step length and constraints of the time window, this method can rapidly test the building envelope's resistance to heat transfer using an arithmetic average formulation with the real time data in a sliding time window from the remote real time testing system, which is based on wireless networks. It can greatly improve the efficiency to save the cost of the wall thermal performance detection compared with the traditional off line testing system.
