In the present work, we prepared Ba_(0.7)Sr_(0.3)TiO_3 and Mn (2 and 3 at % on Ti site) doped Ba_(0.7)Sr_(0.3)TiO_3 ceramic by sol-gel method. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The XRD patterns reveled that Mn ions did not change the perovskite structure of BST (70/30). The dielectric measurements proved that dielectric constant decreased with Mn doping. The dc resistivity was studied by using I-V measurements. The dc resistivity of the BST increased with Mn doping, which suppressed the leakage current.
