1. BECCS+REDD: REDD is the dominant strategy: 1.1. It will be optimal to develop a forest sequestration at very low carbon prices while BECCS will come into play only at high prices. 2. The policy implementation of a formal sequestration program will bring important challenges with the transfer of large sums of money to forest landowners (well defined property rights).
