Analysis of diabetes' effects on cardiovascular stenosis

In order to understand how diabetes affects coronary artery lesions in patients with coronary heart disease, we study 418 cases of coronary heart disease in patients with coronary angiography, where some of the cases are diabetic. We use 0-1 methods to simplify our data and combine the Chi-square test and Logistic regression analysis for assessment. The results show that in the population of patients with coronary heart disease, diabetes promote the left main coronary artery (LMT), proximal left anterior descending coronary artery (proximal-LAD), distal left anterior descending coronary artery (distal-LAD), and proximal left circumflex coronary artery lesions (proximal-LCX). People with diabetes have a higher incidence of coronary heart disease. The innovation in this paper is processing the data into (0-1) data, and then does the chi-square test. Therefore, reasonable and effective prevention and treatment of diabetes is very important.
