Aiming at the depth detecting of under water metal pipe by artificial source electromagnetic method,this paper established a physical model of electromagnetic signal transmitting loop,calculated mathematical expressions and cut-off frequency of signal transmitting loop under different length of metal pipes,and simulated the responses of signal transmitting loop under different excitation signals by computer.The paper provided the basis for the detection of underwater metal pipe by artificial source electromagnetic method.It’s helpful to the designing of metal pipe detector and the building of signal transmitting loop,and increasing the possibility of improving detection accuracy and depth of underwater metal pipe finder.
