摘要

Many researchers have tried to develop models for various deposition processes of nanoparticles in aerosol state, in an effort to predict the resultant film properties such as light absorption in photocatalytic films and thermal properties of the film materials. Off-lattice Monte Carlo (MC) simulations are performed to investigate the transient growth and microstructural evolution of the deposited layer of aerosol particles. Monte Carlo simulation can offer detail information of deposition structures in a moderate computation time as compared to other methods such as Brownian dynamics simulations and molecular dynamics simulations.
