International standard for calibration of condensation particle counter (CPC) is now in the final step before publication. The international standard (ISO/FDIS 27891) defines not only measurement protocol to measure accurate detection efficiency of CPC but also protocol to evaluate uncertainty of measurement. Except standard sample (for example polystyrene latex) of which the nominal size is certified by national institute, there is still difficulty in the protocol to determine relative uncertainty which is prepared in calibration procedure. In this study, we investigated repeatability and reproductivity of detection efficiency by taking account of uncertainty.
