Generally, indoor airborne particles are polydisperse and polydisperse submicron particles (PSPs) are usually used for removal testing. However, the behaviour of monodisperse submicron particles (MSPs) is more easily to predict. Hence, the purpose of this study is to realize the difference between removal efficiency of MSP and PSP by using negative air ion under various freestream air velocity (FAV). In addition, this study investigated the effect of dielectric constants of particles (NaCl=6.1 and sucrose=3.3) on the particle removal.
