摘要

Incense burning, commonly used during religious services and emitted a lot of gaseous and particulate pollutants, is one of the indoor sources to PM2.5 in many countries (Chuang et al., 2011). The aim of this study is to investigate the oxidative potential of PM2.5 from incense burning via the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and identify the chemical components responsible for the toxicity of PM2.5. It provides reliable scientific data on the levels of fine particles from incense burning sources and the extent to which people are exposed to them.
