In recent year, the aggravation of global natural environments becomes a subject of discussion. Hokuriku district, Japan Sea side in central Japan, is the area where a large amount of pollutants and Asian dust (Kosa) are transported from the Asian Continent. Measurements of aldehydes in the natural environments in Hokuriku district have not been sufficient. In this study, we performed observation of the snow pits at Murodoudaira, Mt. Tateyama and analyzed the major ionic constituents and aldehydes.
