Influencing factors decomposition and spatial difference of Chinas coal-soot type air pollution control based on LMDI model

To exploring main influence factors of air pollutant abatement and pollution control effect, this paper evaluates the main coal-soot type air pollutant emissions reduction change in china and 29 provinces for the period 2000-2010 based on the LMDI (Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index) decomposition model,construct the SO2 emission reduction change amount and rate decomposition model with the following four factors: investment decontamination intensity, investment structure, industrial structure and economic scale to excavate corresponding technology effect, investment structure effect, industrial structure effect and scale effect of government investment's contribution to the SO2 reduction respectively.The resuits show that: the air pollutants removal amount of "llth five-year plan" period increased significantly than the "l0th five-year plan" period; among four factors that influence the change of air pollutants removal, investment decontamination intensity and economic scale are key influence factors which have positive effects, the investment structure has declining influence and the industrial structure has small influence.Overall, the air pollution control transferred from the type of scale and structure pull to the type of technology and scale pull.The spatial disparity analytical results show that differences among the provinces in technical effects and investment structure effects are large, while differences in industrial structure effect and scale effect are small.
