As an important result of the survey work, the surveyors concern how DLG can re-use of the existing data in order to convert data between different coordinate systems.The common method is to convert the coordinate system of the original DLG, but conversion accuracy affects the use of DLG.Therefore, Discussions of the conversion of DLG have practical value.Coordinate system conversion principles of the traditional DLG and analyzed the inadequacies of DLG coordinate system conversion method.Mathematical model and conversion method on ellipsoid are put forward, compare the advantages and disadvantages between this method and traditional conversion methods.DLG conversion generally consists of four transformation parameters in the plane coordinate system., two translational parameters (a b), rotation parameter, scale parameter.The two most common conversion process: rotation first, then translation, unified scale finally; translation first, then rotation, unified scale finally.Although the four transformation parameters obtained are different in the conversion process, the final result of the conversion is the same.
