摘要

This work introduces an integrated system for use in alternative-input human-machine interfaces, with potential augmented-reality and assistive implementations, which estimates the field of view of a user through combinations of visual and orientation information. The proposed system design is explained and justified, with specific setup and calibration details. A test application was developed for the assessment of system capabilities and limitations. Results from this work indicate that this prototype is a successful interface, suitable for general use on small screens and portable devices. Finally, potential advantages and future work related to this layout are explored.
