摘要

Fast and efficient energy storage is an important part of modern energy storage strategy. Supercapacitors are attracting more attention as key devices for energy storage due to their high power density and charge/discharge efficiency. Supercapacitors can be distinguished into three types depending on the charge storage mechanism as well as the active materials used: electrochemical double layer capacitors (EDLCs), pseudocapacitors and hybrid capacitors.
