With the development of industry and transportation, the emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) have become a notable problem, due to the adverse effects both on the environment and human health. Catalytic combustion is an effective technology for the elimination of VOCs because of its high efficiency and low operating temperature. The design of high-performance catalysts by facile and universal method is the key point of research on this technology.
