From impedance values, it can be concluded that the impedance from the grid side is very high compared to other impedances. This is the main reason for the voltage drop at the terminal T1 and thus the current harmonics are injected in the system at this terminal. it was observed that the rate of change of current with respect to time varies unevenly in the solar and hence current taken from grid to fulfil loads is also varying , which is increasing voltage fluctuations due to higher impedance and causing higher current harmonics. All solar plant design engineers should take above effect into account while designing to avoid such problems. This is a small case from where we can understand how transmission grid needs to strengthen in future to accommodate more solar or renewable power.
