1. Frequency response of the study feeder limits PV penetration to 900 KW. 2. For additional PV penetration (> 900 KW), storage units can be used to regulate frequency within acceptable thresholds (+/- .3 Hz) 3. PV penetration on the island can improve or deteriorate frequency response depending on settings. 4. In order to reduce stress on isochronous units, at least, 50 % of installed PV shall have ride-through capability.
